The hills and the mountains around the bay are covered by pine and sandal wood trees. Olive and pig trees are located towards to the bays. Some part of the bays are sandy whilst the other part is rocky.
At Murdala there is a rather large, maybe a hundred, collection of relatively new buildings constructed as what appears to be a holiday ‘resort’. It has a definite ‘ghost town’ feeling to it, set off perfectly by the ruined ‘shop’, rotten boat and decorated monster bar be cue. A strange place, all-in-all.
