Our Boat ‘’Blue Escape’’ specially customized for realizing diving activities and courses in upmost comfort. Its accommodation capacity is designed for welcoming 30 guests and make them feel at home. It is a boutique boat designed on the idea that makes your happiness, our priority. Beside enjoying lovely Bodrum sun on our large sun deck, you can have your daily cooked lunch on our comfortable tables. Our buffet will be at your service with a quite variety of drinks and snacks for the whole day.
Blue Escape can serve 12 divers at the same time. In order to make you comfortable; we donated the boat with diving desks. Our sea level platform is serving divers the easiest way of entering and existing from water. The boat has two toilets; fresh water shower and common areas which are cleaned periodically for ensuring ultimate hygiene standards.

The diversity and large amounts of sponge formations in Bodrum make possible for divers to see the whole range of Mediterranean sea species. In every dive you can bump into an Octopus, stingrays, groupers, large families of barracudas, morays, sea bream, nudibranchs, seahorses, scorpion fish, dentex, leer fish and sponges if you are lucky even dolphins, caretta caretta and seals. Bodrum’s fauna and flora is always surprising for underwater photographers.
Bodrum is the leading actor of underwater documentaries and offers convenience for open water, advanced and beginner divers. Bodrum is also hosting 3 wrecks for wreck divers; very good reef and wall formations and caverns. Because of its archeological history as Halikarnassos; it is possible for you to find some keys to history and see amphoras.
Crystal clear water of Bodrum makes possible visibility to 20-30 meters and poses to underwater videos and photographs. Water temperature is around 16 degrees in winter and rises up to 27 degrees in summer which makes your dives joyfull each season. Big Reef
In 20 minutes with Blue Escape you will reach the most beautiful and amazing diving site in Bodrum. The upper part of the reef starts from 5-6 meters and reaches on the South 32 meters and on the North 36 meters. Big Reef has its oppurtunities inside for open water divers there is one side which you can descend gradually to their depth. For Advanced divers they will feel the flying like taste of drop off straight down to 30 meters. If you are an underwater photographer you are at the right diving era in Bodrum. Beside the Wall itself poses great also it is the home of rich aquatic life includes scorpion fish, octopus, jacks, moray eels, schools of barracuda, huge groupers, huge dentex families, White groupers, wrasse and big reef is all covered with different size and type of sponges.
Small Reef
It is just 200 meters away from Big Reef towards Bodrum destination so you will be at lovely diving site of Bodrum in 15 minutes with Blue Escape. Aquatic life is fascinating. When you start your dive in Small Reef; the first descending point is 5-6 meters. You can recognize this site of Bodrum from its cylinder shape and 3 walls surrounding reaches 28-30 meters. Like its name smaller than Big Reef and has the same beautiful characteristics. One of the most worth diving sites in Bodrum. All three walls are perfect for micro photography with their shapes. On top of the reef, check for scorpion fish, octopus, moray eel.When you go deeper groupers, leerfish, schools of barracuda, dentex, white groupers and many will pose for you. Watch different sponges while diving at small reef. If you are an underwater photographer then Small reef is perfect for you.
Wolf Point
It is the ideal point for beginners, open water and advanced divers. It takes 15 minutes to reach Wolf Point from Bodrum with our lovely boat Blue Escape. It is on the South edge of Görece Island as an extension to peninsula which lays between Bodrum and Bitez. Rock formations start from 3 metres and reaches down to 30 meters hosting the beautiful fauna and flora of Aegean sea. During your dive in Wolf Point you can expect to see octopus, diversity of stone fish, soldier fish, groupers, stingrays, moray eels and starfish; sea cucumbers, sponges and amphora parts. On your way back to boat you can visit the old car wreck at 8-10 meters,which serves as an artificial reef.
Lighthouse
Lighthouse is placed at the northwest corner of Karaada, which takes 20 minutes of journey with Blue Escape. It is a convenient dive spot of Bodrum for beginners, open water and advanced divers. Rock formations start from 5 meters and reaches to 20 meters. The reason to visit Lighthouse is hidden in reaching White corals. You need to pass sea grass, sandy bottom and rocks and then here you are with Whitecorals, the only place you could see them in Bodrum. During your dive check out for octopus; moray eels; groupers, stone fish and parrot fish.
Fridge Bay
Fridge Bay is located next to Light house, the journey will take 20 minutes with Blue Escape. It offers 2 dive directions for divers. The first route has the similiar topography with lighthouse and convenient for beginners and open waters. The second route is advised for advanced divers with a depth of 18 to 30 meters. Blue Escape dive guide will lead you to the spot which is in the middle of the bay and encircled by sea grass. Rock outcrops hosting different fish species. The expected visitors of the dive spot is schools of baracuda, octopus, dentex,cuttle fish and axe fish. Do not forget to look out for amphora parts spreaded around.
Paçoz Bay
The bay is located between Smugglers Bay and Lighthouse. It takes a 30 minutes journey from Bodrum harbour with Blue Escape. Spectacular diving spot in Bodrum for beginners, open waters and advanced divers. An old fishing boat wreck ‘Sultan Wreck’ is also situated in Paçoz Bay. The Wall which is covered with different plants starts at 6-7 meters and reaches to 28-30 meters. While diving through the Wall you could come across stingrays,octopus,all sizes of groupers,lobsters,schools of baracuda and posing different sponges. Diving spot also has 3 small caves however diving to caves only possible according to your scuba diving experience and related certificate level.
Smugglers Bay
The ideal dive point for both beginner, open water and advanced divers. Blue Escape will take you to Smugglers Bay in 30 minutes from Bodrum harbour. The bay takes its historical name as it was the secret place for drug smugglers between Greece and the land, as it is so difficult to see the bay entrance from outside. There are small caverns on the shore. But the surprise of the bay is at the right. There is the enterance of an underwater cavern system reaches into Karaada for 40-50 meters and hidden just below sea level. You could only see the top of enterance on a low tide day. It is not recommended for divers( even for cavern divers) because of its so narrow and labyrinth-shape. If you just want to look at the small enterance point of the cave then you can see sweepers and sponges. You could enjoy diving two directions of the bay. If you prefer to dive right side then you will come across the great view of amphoras at 26 meters depth and while reaching there expect to see moray eels within rock formations, groupers and even a Gurnard can pop out from the sandy sea bed. If you prefer to dive left side of Smugglers Bay; you can join the feast of dentex,stingray, soldier fish,morays within the different species of sponges.
Bubble Cave
Bubble cave is located at the back of Karada. It will take a 45 minutes journey with Blue Escape from Bodrum. Bubble cave is a scenic diving spot for open waters and advanced divers. The enterance to Bubble cave is at 12 meters and it is full with tube worms,types of corals, sponges. Check out for lobsters within the cracks. The colours of the cave from yellow to purple needed to be seen. The surprising point about cave is that you could enter the cave and exit from the chimney of the cave. The chimney has a diameter of 1 meter and leads you up to 6 meters. After your exit from the cave, look back for the fascinating view of air bubbles which scuba divers left inside. Prepare your cameras for spectacular view of rising bubbles.
Upper Poyraz
Upper Poyraz is along the most beautiful diving spots in Bodrum. The wind is always dominant here and a little bit challenging for boats. Between Poyraz and Upper Poyraz; there are underwater caves and some divers came across with a Mediterranean Monk Seal. One of these cave is even the home of the monk seal which is in the list of endangered species. The diving spot is recommended only for advanced divers as reefs are opening to open sea. Reef starts at 8-10 meters and follows a slope to 20 meters. If you look for the left of the reef formation then watch out and not drop-off. The bottom starts around 35 meters and goes deeper. Stingray can pop out. Small cavern formations through the Wall is nice to see and also hosts different species from like lobsters, mussels. Sponges are great to see.Sometimes current will be a handicap.
Poyraz Bay
Poyraz Bay takes its name from the Northeast wind and like its name always windy and relaxing on hot summer. The journey to Poyraz Bay is 50 minutes by Blue Escape. It is a convenient dive spot for beginners; open water and advanced divers. The rock formations starts at 5 meters and reaches to 20 meters. During your dive; you will come accross with groupers, moray eels,star fish,octopus, sponges also take your underwater camera for amphoras. If you are an advanced diver then you can follow the right side of the bay with lead of our dive guide. If you prefer to see crater shape rock formations, the reef starts at 16 meters. When you dive through rocks you will see the larger and deeper reef, the aquatic life is not so rich in the diving era. Care about the current on the way back to boat. However you could see an old fishing net streched through the rocks.
Flat Rock
It is a volcanic rock formation at the south of Karaada and 300-400 meters away from Aksona Bay.Volcanic structure makes here desirable to dive. Blue Escape will reach this diving site in 50 minutes.Since current is on the scene we recommend for advanced divers still a nice diving site of Bodrum. The Karaada side of Flat Rock is not good for diving as it is so shallow and covered by sea grass. So you will be diving to southeast and expect to see lobster, moray eel, octopus, grouper, white grouper, dentex, wrasse and barracuda.If you are a lucky diver then you can be surprised by a 3 meters long ray who like to swim with divers.
Aksona Bay
You will reach Aksona Bay at the South edge of Karaada after 50 minutes joyfull trip with Blue Escape from Bodrum. The name of the Bay is coming from the famous sponge hunter ‘’Aksona Mehmet’’in Bodrum. This is a diving site with archeological foundations where you could face with Aegean mystery. It is recommended for advanced divers and to a level of 18 meters for open waters. You will be passing sea grass and rock formations which starts at 3 meters and reaches to 20 meters and after that depth they are turning out to be a Wall formation. Look for the old Phonecian Ship Anchor which is around 13,5 meters and placed on a flat rock in order to be seen easily. While you are diving along the Wall; you could see a complete amphora on sandy sea bed at 30 meters. During you dive you could expect to see groupers, octopus; dentex,gold blutch grouper,baracuda,moray eel and if you are on your lucky day even thornback ray and dogfish. Be aware of the reverse currents.
South Point
It is located at the south end of Karaada and 50 minutes away from Bodrum by Blue Escape. A good diving spot of Bodrum for beginners, open water divers and advanced divers. You will start diving to left on sandy bottom and sea grass and then reach to the wall between 18 and 26 meters. The wall inhabits big fish and lobsters, octopus. Also nice view of pinas in sea grass. There is a small caves around 26 meters which is guarded by big groupers just glance at for the amphora. Right side of the South point is shallow and convenient for beginners. South Point has also another dive spot called as Sponge Reef. It is only for advanced open water divers with a reef starts from 20 meters and reaches 40 plus meters. You will be amazed by different type of sponges covering the reef and meet with groupers, barracudas, moray eels, dentex, jacks and breams.
Kargı Island
Kargı Island is 500 meters to Akyarlar and 1, 5 hour journey with your diving boat in Bodrum ‘’Blue Escape’’. Kargı Island has a lighthouse on it and lovely with its island characteristics. When you dive in Kargı Island; you will understand that journey-time worths. It is the nearest point to Kos Island of Greece. Bay side of Kargı island is nice for scuba diving. Rock formations start around 20 meters and reach the depth of 36 meters. You could see acheological remains of amphoras between 5 meters and 25 meters. Nice reef dive site of water. Aquatic life is spectacular. Look for pink trumpet sponges. You will expect to see tunas, groupers, dentex, White groupers and many moray eels and schools of barracuda.
Orak Island
If you are a reef diver, underwater photographer or dive Explorer then take a 1, 5 hour journey towards Gökova Bay with Blue Escape Dive Center in Bodrum and visit Orak Island for sure. This dive site of Bodrum has 2 directions for scuba and bot hare fascinating. During you dive you will be amazed by rock formations as the view of them is very likely to moon-surface. After 20 meters rock formations turning out to a deep Wall. This volcanic wall has a bottom depth around 70 meters.While you are diving through the biggest Wall of the region, you will see groupers, White grouper, rays, moray eels and lobsters and many other molluscs, crustaceans for sure.
SG 115 Coast Guard Wreck
SG 115 is a retired coast guard boat which was sunk by BOSAD in 2007. The journey to old coast guard boat wreck will take around 25 minutes by our boat. Now it serves as an artificial reef of Bodrum around Black Island. During your dive you will pass from rock formations near coast and just after neptune grass you will start to see SG 115. Boat’s stern is at 18 meters and bow is around 26 meters. SG 115 has a lenght of 29 meters. If you are an experienced wreck diver then you can penetrate the wreck. Squid eggs has a nice view on mast. When you are on the way back to Blue Escape; topography of rocks will attract your attention.
C-47 Dakota Airplane Wreck
It just at the left side of Paçoz Bay so the journey with Blue Escape will take around 30 minutes. It is a nice diving spot of Bodrum for wreck divers. C-47 Dakota was sunk in 2008 by BOSAD within artificial reef projects of Karaada. It is a retired plane of Turkish Air Force.The plane has a length of 20 meters and its wingspan length is 30 meters.The wreck starts at 16 meters and reaches to 26 meters. The wreck splitted in 2 parts in 2010. The tail and the shed of the plane moved towards deeper down to 32-33 meters. Location of the wreck is on rock formations so aquatic life around the wreck is rich.Especially huge groupers will improve the fun of your wreck dive in Bodrum.
PINAR 1 Wreck
The very nice wreck diving spot of Bodrum situated between Bubble Cave and Poyraz Bay. The journey to wreck will take around 40 minutes with Blue Escape. Pınar 1 is a retired Costguard navy ,which was used as a water tanker.The ship was sunk in May 2007 by BOSAD and now serves as an artificial reef to divers of Bodrum. The wreck has a length of 37 meters with a width of 7 meters.The depth of the ship wreck starts at 18 meters and descending to 33 meters. After you complete your dive tour around the wreck,you can penetrate to large Wheel house of the captain.In Wheel house you can take the pictures of nudibranches,tube warms and squid eggs around ship’s hull.When you are on the way back to our boat,you will be interested by rock formations between 8-20 meters where groupers,moray eels and octopus will be seen.
