Sailing in Turkey also allows visitors to experience the hospitality of the people in the coastal villages and towns. The tempered winds blowing from west and northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting, and seem to encourage an appreciation of nature. From some of the turquoise coast's unspoilt and sheltered bays you can see mountain peaks rising to almost 3000 meters above sea level.

Salih Adası is a Turkish island in the Aegean Sea, located north of Bodrum. Salih Adası is a popular tourist destination, and is accessible by boat from Bodrum. Salih Adası appears to be a private island.

There are several anchoring possibilities and the shelter is good. Directly opposite the cove is Salih Island whose large area and high ground is covered with pine and olive trees.

On the south eastern side there is a cove with a white house and this is the best mooring place for visiting boats, and is also good for shelter and swimming. Boats can also anchor in shore of the southern inlet where several summer villas have been built.
