Ovabükü, is the largest bay of the village Mesudiye. With his 600 m long beach it is one of the most beautiful bays of the world. Ovabükü is a quiet and peaceful place. Ovabükü is a small, sheltered cove lying on the east side of Kalaboshi Point. Surrounded by green slopes, the hamlet is home to a permanent population of just thirty eight residents.
Ovabükü is 5 km from Palamutbükü bay with a magnificent place. Small, rocky cape in front of the rock scatter dark nose and divides the plain. First, the Ovabükü a large cove, located in a small bay to the east called the Hayıtbükü. These bays, beach, restaurants and hostels is located. Behind it lies the fertile plains. Half-length of about 1 km from a beach sand, which is half of the gravel.
Ovabükü is a small, mountain-surrounded harbor on the Datça Peninsula. We wound up there only because when we tried to anchor in the crowded ancient harbor of Knidos, our anchor windlass did not respond and we had to quickly pull it in manually to avert disaster. We moved on to the next harbor. So Ovabükü it was, and it was a nice respite.

Turkey to the south, west and north. With over 8,333 km of coastline along the four seas, Turkey is a treasure chest of coves, inlets, bays and beaches at which yachtsmen can choose a different, private anchorage each night.
Sailing in Turkey also allows visitors to experience the hospitality of the people in the coastal villages and towns. The tempered winds blowing from west and northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting, and seem to encourage an appreciation of nature. From some of the turquoise coast's unspoilt and sheltered bays you can see mountain peaks rising to almost 3000 meters above sea level.
