Kumlubuku Yacht Club provides harbouring and mooring services to yachts and sailing boats alike. Open every year from April 1st to mid-November, Kumlubuku Yacht Club is always excited to welcome you with its turquoise sea. Our premises are set in a 4000-sq.meter green area in the national park of Kumlubuk bay.

It is a place that yachts coming to the region for vacation prefer due to its menus with delicious dishes, impeccable service and unique location.

Kumlubük (meaning sandcove) often stated to be the most beautiful and best beach on the Bozburun Peninsula in Southern Turkey, the peaceful village of Kumlubük offers a wonderful getaway holiday destination for visitors who want to get away from it all. Kumlubük is about 15 miles south of the popular and bustling resort town of Marmaris on Turkey’s Southern Coast.

From Amos it is only a further 2 km to the small village of Kumlubük. The name means Sandy Bay and it has one of the largest stretches of beach on the peninsula. Currently, is a relatively undeveloped village as far as tourism goes although we understand that a Russian consortium has purchased a large area of land in the village - so make the most of these fabulous views.

Kumlubük is a moon shaped large bay on S of Asarcık Burnu. It is open to E. The bay is surrounded by thickly wooded mountains. Kumlubük provides all-round shetler except from easterlies.

For now, even in high summer, there is always plenty of space on the beach. The waters are clean and clear and at the southern end of the beach there are several restaurants and cafes offering refreshments and snacks during the daytime.

The depths gently shelve and drop to 10 m and the bottom becomes sand. Its shores feature long and sandy beach with sand bank by 2 m off. There are two attractive anchorages on the southern shores. You can drop anchor in 10 m and take a line ashore. This anchorage is open to northerlies. The best shelter is in the northwest corner, off the beach; the bottom is sand and there is 5 to 6 m depth. Boats can be pushed off or anchored with a line ashore.

There are several restaurants with piers along the coast. Water, electricity and wireless connections are available. Some of these restaurants offer exclusive service. Water sport activities are organized.

Pay attention for mooring lines distance, Rodos-Marmaris ferry and hydrofoils run daily, they produce considerable waves and the anchorage becomes boomy.

The daily water taxi that drops off in Amos continues onto Kumlubük in the mornings and stops there on the return in the late afternoon. The daily boat tours usually call into the bay to moor and stop a while.
