Dive Boat : Osmanbey 1
The purpose-designed and built 20m long x 6m wide steel dive boat has a 370 hp diesel MAN engine and an on board generator. The boat has a spacious dive deck for equipment preparation and a separate sun deck for relaxing and socializing between dives. There are both Ladies and Men’s toilets and a fresh water shower.

The dive platform on the stern is at water level which makes for easy entries and exits for the divers so they can save their energy for the dive itself. We also carry a good selection and full range of well-serviced up-to-date scuba diving gear along with the usual first aid and 100% oxygen via demand valve.

Our diving equipment includes
Standard 12-liter steel tanks and 15-liter steel tanks are available upon request;
Full range of Aqualung and Subgear regulators, complete with 1st & 2nd stage, alternate air source and pressure gauge;
BCDs by Aqua-Lung and Subgear;
A good selection of 3 mm & 5 mm wet suits in various sizes;
Wide selection of masks, fins & snorkels;
Various other ancillaries & training resources.

Kalkan has some terrific sites for divers who already hold certification. The Mediterranean is teeming with marine life. With our excellent visibility and warm waters, diving in Kalkan is a first-rate experience. We organize the qualified divers according to experience to ensure that everyone has some great diving.

There is no rental charge for using our equipment so no worries if you left yours at home. All of our dive prices include two tank dives per day plus a dive guide. During your surface interval we will provide tea/coffee and cake and give you time to rest before your second dive.

Try Dives
If you have never tried scuba diving before, now is a great time to give it a go and find out what it’s like to breathe underwater. Your day will begin with an informative introductory video. Then you will have further instruction from one of Dolphin’s professional staff. Once we have helped you into your gear, you will join one of our instructors in shallow water.

We have been doing try dives for years so you can relax knowing that you are in the hands of capable professionals. After your first dive, you will have some time for rest and then you can elect to make a second dive. This is a great way to get a taste of what scuba diving is all about!

PADI Discover
If you have never tried scuba diving before, now is a great time to give it a go. Your day will begin with an informative introductory video. Then you will have further instruction from one of Dolphin’s professional staff. Once we have helped you into your gear, you will join one of our instructors in the water.

Once you get used to being underwater, there are a few basic skills the instructor will teach and have you demonstrate. After your first dive, you will some time for rest and then you will dive again with one of our instructors. You will be awarded a Discover Scuba Diving certificate that registers your experience with PADI and gives you 12 months to use the credit to complete further training.

Under their supervision you will learn the usage of the SCUBA equipment, all the know-how and faculty which is needed to safely and comfortably enjoy your first undwater adventure.

We as Teos Divers know very well that you will be very delighted and that you will be wanting to continue after your first step you make with us... After this first experience you will be joining our worldwide recognized PADI or CMAS training and certification courses to be a certified diver in brief time, who may dive all over the world.

BOAT DIVING
Every day at 10:00 and 14:30 o'clock we arrange boat diving tours with divings to 2 different dive spots. Our non diving guests are welcome to enjoy our tours and take the chance of snorkeling.

Our boat "Teosdivers" was designed and build as a diving boat with two decks. Its wide platform allows a comfortable entrance and exit. She is capable to serve 36 divers.

ALANYA DOLPHIN DIVE CENTER

Since 1994 Alanya Region serving our country Dive Center diving Federation TSSF-CMAS membership as well as bodyworker SSI and PADI 5-star of such international organization (PADI 5 STAR GOLD PALM RESORT) with the title of leader of the quality and education of the region has become the standard. Such International Organization can deliver all levels of dive certification courses diving center, as well as promoting the experimental Diving daily courses with their underwater and diving related to the sport of disarming.

The interesting flora, the variety of underwater marine life and especially the enticing underwater caverns and caves have made Alanya a popular dive. Most of the dive sites are situated around the coastline of the Alanya Castle, the steep cliffs of which turn to dramatic dropoffs under the surface of the sea. The close proximity of these dive sites makes them easily accesible even by inflatables and diving three or four times a day is possible with the option of returning to base after each dive. The sites are also very suitable for night dives.

DIVE POINTS

Aquarium
Aquarium, 5 min. sailing distance, is the closest diving location to Alanya harbour. Depth ranges from 4 to 25 meters. This location is mainly used for educational diving. Because of it's mild (favorable) whether conditions, this spot is an ideal alternative diving site. Sea bed is composed of rocks and sea weed grass. Various underwater creatures like snails, mussels, octopus, black scorpion fish, moray, soldier fish, grouper could be observed.

Amphora
Amphora is the second closest diving location.  Sailing distance is approximately 5 mins.  It owes name to broken pieces of amphora.  Dept is max.  29 m.  This location is rich in underwater life.  Various underwater creatures like grouper, moray, octopus, thornback ray and pıgfish could be observed.  Sea bed is composed of rocks.

Pirate Cave
Pirate cave is a multi-purpose diving side for both inexperienced and experienced divers.  Distance to Alanya Harbour is 8 to 10 mins.  Minimum depth is 10 meters.  While maximum depth is 32 m.  Also, there is a wreck at 25 m. depth.  Pirate's cave is an open and large cave, which does not impose any danger.  Entrance to the cave starts at 12 m. depth.  Right at the entrance is a ancient mill-stone 1 m. in diameter.  Stones in the cave reflect the light, and create a fascinating fiesta of colors.  Inside the cave, divers can ascent and observe bats with flashlights.  Sea bed is composed of rocks. Various underwater creatures like grouper, octopus, barakuda, shellfish, thornbackray could be observed.

Terrace
Terrace is approximately 10 min. sailing distance to Alanya Harbour.  Depth is between 7 to 25 m.  Sea bed is steep and is composed of rocks.  Generally underwater life is basically shellfish.  Close to the skirts of the mountain hidden moray can be seen.

Middle Cave
Middle cave is 12 min. distance to Alanya Harbour.  Depth of the location is 15 m. minimum and 34 m. maximum.  Cave's enterance is located at 15 m. depth. This site is ideal for experienced divers and deep-water diving.

Lovers Cave
Lovers is 15 mins. sailing distance to Alanya Harbour.  Depth is between 10 to 34 m.  This site is suitable for both educational diving for inexperienced and for the experienced.  Sea bed is mainly rocky.  It has a lively underwater life. An ancient anchor is located at 21 m. depth.  At 4 m. depth, at the skirts of the mountain is a small and closed cave.

Dilvarda (E)
Dilvarda east is located at the east of the farthest bay to Alanya Castle.  Sailing distance is 17 min.  Sea bed is mainly rocky.  Depth is between 5-35 m. Schools of fish can be observed.  This site is most suitable for educational diving.

Dilvarda (W)
Dilvarda west is located at the west of the farthest bay to Alanya Castle.  Sailing distance is 20 min.  Sea bed is mainly rocky.  Depth is between 5 to 40 m. this side is   suitable for deep-water and current diving.  It is also used for educational diving.  Underwater life is rich and lively.  Schools of fish can also be found.

Phosphor Cave
Sailing distance to Alanya Harbour is 20 m.  Depth of the location is between 8 to 33 m.  There are two cave groups one at 5 m, the other at 12 m. depth.  Sea bed is rocky.  Underwater life is rich.  This site is suitable for both licensed divers and trainees.  It also allows night diving.

Broken Stone
Sailing distance to Alanya Harbour is 20 min.  Depth is 5 to 20 m.  Sea bed is rokcy.  This is an ideal site for daily diving courses.  There is a 10 meter long and 2 meter wide cave located at 4 m. depth at the skirts of the mountain.  Underwater life is rich.  Experienced divers can follow underwater course to Phosphorus cave.

Tunnel
Distance to Alanya Harbour is approximately 25 min.  It is basically a tunnel, west of the castle, with it's enterance and exit located at 13 m. depth.  Width of the tunnel is between 3-6 m.  Length of it is about 42 m.  Along the tunnel there are small packets (rooms).  Underwater life is rich.

Rambo
Among the diving sites, Rambo is the farthest location.  This, perhaps most popular diving site, is close to Cleopatra Beach.  It is approximately 25 min. sailing  distance to the harbour.  At 13 m. depth, a 6-7 m. long tunnel, which can accomodate 5 divers, leads the way to a cave which is semi-filled with oxygen.  Inside the cave there are nuınerous dropstones.  Air vacuum in certain locations can each 10 meters.  It resembles Damlataş cave, most famous and popular spot of alanya.  Sea bed is sandy.  Divers are required to swim one meter above the surface so that the water does not get blurred.

Daily Diving
European Diving Centre Fethiye, Turkey offers full day trips from our comfortable hard boats. The schedule for qualified scuba divers offers the opportunity to complete 2 guided dives at different dive sites in a single day providing excellent value for money. All dives are guided by professional local guides who know the Mediterranean conditions and dive sites well and hold both CMAS and PADI diving qualifications. Qualified diving is available to all divers on presentation of relevant certification cards.

Fethiye offers a variety of Mediterranean dives to whet all appetites ranging from the shallow calm reefs to eerie caverns, walls and dramatic drop offs, thrilling tunnels and swim-through arches coated in soft corals. Night dives are the perfect time for spotting Octopus, Shrimps and Lobsters. Each dive offers the opportunity to see those weird and wonderful creatures that make up the Med – frequent visits from Grouper, Moray Eels, Jacks, Barracuda and Cuttlefish can be expected and less frequent visits from Turtles, Dolphins and Rays are always a pleasure. Keep your eyes peeled for Peacock Flounder, Gurnards and Seahorses blending into the sea grass.

DIVE SITES

The Wreck – TCSG-121
The wreck is the new main attraction for diving in Feithye. An old coastguard ship it lies 27m under the water it is 40.2m long with a width of 6.4m and weighs in at 150 tons. The wreck lies adjacent to a reef which is rich in marine life with moray eels a plenty, some very large groupers have also taken up residence in the space below the vessel. It is possible to penetrate the wreck with access points at the rear and through two engine bays, special care should be taken when doing so but upon accessing the wreck a diver can look around the living quarters of the crew and come up onto the bridge. Divers who hold the PADI advanced open water certification or equivalent are able to dive on this wreck, it is also recommended that the PADI wreck specialty course is completed.

Afkule
36°58’11.09”N  29°02’53.26”E
Also known as Aladdin’s cavern, this site was recently voted in the top 10 dive sites in Turkey. The site is made up of 2 parts, the first part is the cavern itself and the second part is “The Hamam”(Turkish Bath). Descending to 29 metres the cavern consists of 2 kidney shaped areas allowing divers to observe the delicate dantelle corals and colourful formations. The second part has a small overhang and sandy bottom with a resident large grouper. After 6-10 mins divers exit and ascend to 12-15 metres for a 100 metre travel to the hamam. Entry is through a large opening into a closed room. Natural sunlight streams through 2 windows in the ceiling creating fantastic light shows for photographers and divers alike. Safety stops are carried out here before surfacing to admire the natural beauty. Re-descending to 5 metres maximum for the short swim to our waiting dive boat. Divers need to be AOW or equivalent to dive both areas but open water/scuba divers can easily undertake the hamam portion of the dive under the guidance of our expert Turkish Dive Guides

Three Tunnels
36°59’78.46”N  29°02’66.67”E
This site does exactly what it says on the tin! The tunnels are created by large cracks in the rock structure and are large enough for divers to pass through in single file. The deepest tunnel entrance is at 30 metres and slowly ascends to 26 metres. Our dive guide will exit in a large area between tunnels and wait for all divers in the group before entering tunnel 2. Tunnel 2 provides a good test of buoyancy as there is a dog leg in the tunnel requiring divers to ascend slightly to maintain forward motion. Tunnel 2 exits at 22 metres where our dive guide will repeat the procedure from tunnel 3. Tunnel 1 is a relatively short 5 metres in length exiting at right angles into the blue water on the left of the tunnels at approx 18 metres. The rest of the dive is carried out on the top of the reef where numerous cracks and crevices are the perfect hiding place for a wide range of marine species. Safety stops are carried out at the anchor line or back of the boat before exiting .

Mexican Hat

This dive site also consists of two elements. The first part requires divers to drop down to 29 metres and then one at a time be called forward to visit the shrimp room. With the aid of a torch, thousands of shrimps can be seen living in their natural environment. Good buoyancy control is essential here to allow following divers a chance to experience this phenomenon. When all divers have exited, there follows a 100 metre swim to the second element of the dive. Coming shallow to conserve air. The second part of the dive involves swimming into a large tunnel, the opening of which is 25 metres wide. The tunnel narrows during its 90 metre length and requires a torch. Halfway up the tunnel the water turns from salt to fresh and its temperature drops quite significantly. Safety stops are carried out here before surfacing in a closed room to talk about how cold it is. After a couple of minutes divers re-descend to a maximum depth of 5 metres for the short swim to our waiting dive boat. The first part of this dive is restricted to AOW divers and above, however the second part is quite within the reach of open water divers.

Balaban Island

An island in the open sea! This dive site is perfect for divers of all certification levels, the gently sloping rock walls allow depth control to be easily achieved. On the eastern point lies Deep blue balaban which is approximately 250 metres deep. Our dive guide will point this feature out to our divers. For the more experienced diver a full circuit of the island is possible, air consumption permitting. The north side of the island is in the shade most of the time but is still home to lobsters and crabs plus the occasional moray eel. Reaching the western most point of the island is where the sunlight makes an appearance and huge schools of barracuda have been regularly spotted hunting at this location. The return leg along the southern coast of the island is bathed in sunlight and gives the budding photographer great opportunities to spot cardinal fish, squirrel fish and several species of sea bream. Safety stops are carried out under the boat.

Dalyan Reef
36°60’30.48”N  29°03’11.68”E
This dive site is offshore from our normal divesite coastline and is diveable when sea conditions are favourable. The boat is placed on the top of the reef at a depth of 14 metres and divers normally descend down the shot line to assist in any prevailing currents. Divers then pick up the wall in a southerly direction and find their maximum depth based on qualification. The wall is a labyrinth of cracks and crevices, home to many species of marine life. The sandy area below  the divers has historically been  home to occasional rays. At the end of the wall divers turn northwards to head for the dive boat up a gently sloping bottom which resembles a lunar landscape. Home to moray eels, groupers, hermit crabs and wealth of other marine life, this is a chance for divers to explore with a little freedom whilst still under the direct supervision of our dive guide. Safety stops are performed on the anchor line before swimming to the back of our dive boat and exiting. This dive site is available to divers of all certification levels but the top of the reef at 14 metres leaves only a 4 metre window of opportunity for open water divers.

Aquarium Reef

This dive site is often used as the location for our third dive of the day. This gives experienced divers the chance to observe many varied species of marine life without descending below 18 metres. Company policy dictates that we do not reverse profile and set 18 metres as the maximum on dive 3. The boat drops all divers off on top of the reef where the bottom is at 8 metres. After a short swim the reef drops off to 30+ metres and divers traverse along a wall. At the end of the wall, divers re-emerge onto the top of the reef where there are several large pinnacles which are home to moray eels, crabs and lobsters. At this point divers are encouraged to look out into the blue where groups of adult and juvenile barracudas are nearly always hunting. After 1 or 2 circuits of the pinnacles divers begin the journey to our waiting dive boat in small aquarium bay. The bottom is predominantly sandy with many rocky outcrops proving home to varied marine species. Safety stops are carried out at the front of the boat before ascent and exit. The red route takes newly/less qualified divers on a tour of small aquarium reef with many of the same features available.

Kaya Bay

A favourite with divers of all abilities. The dive boat is moored up close to the beach to allow beginners and courses to take advantage of the level and sandy bottom. For the experienced divers a short swim from the bow of the boat brings a whole new world. To the left a sloping wall leads to the wreck of an old wooden fishing boat, now sadly broken up but still an ideal place to spot juvenile groupers and an array of other species. The wall continues out towards 3 tunnels, but the gently sloping bottom makes depth control easy. To the right lies a sandy amphitheatre surrounded by a reef with many overhangs and crevices where interesting species hang out. Karavider (rock lobster), soldier fish, Mediterranean  moray eels and the occasional large grouper. A group of around 200 juvenile barracudas spent several weeks in the area towards the end of the season.

Yellowstone Drop-Off

This dive site is ideal for divers of all certification levels. The red route takes divers down to 29 metres where a small swim through allows divers to observe a wide range of colourful corals before ascending to 20 metres where a large cave containing shrimps is located. Divers can enter with our dive guide 1 at a time to observe the marine life. Underwater torches are a requirement for this part of the dive. Upon all divers exiting, there then follows a 30 minute dive back to the boat which by now is moored in yellowstone bay. The bottom profile is such that divers automatically come shallower during this dive retaining contact with the rocky outcrops and crevices to observe the marine life. The green route allows open water divers to benefit from the stunning underwater features whilst observing the maximum depth limit of 18 metres. Safety stops are carried out swimming around under the boat to maximise available dive time.

You can come and join our daily diving trips with a small group of divers on our Merhaba 3 boat, with double deck, a 14 metre diving boat, with fully scuba diving equipment. Kitchen and toilet are provided on board. You will experience the colorful marine life, hand feed fish, and enjoy the feeling of complete weightlessness when you enter the magic world of diving in Fethiye.

Following the first dive, there will be plenty of time to relax, sunbath and snorkel. The afternoon follows with your second dive, with a similar program as your first dive. Scuba diving is one of the fastest growing leisure sports in the world. Dolphin Diving Center offers you PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) courses and CMAS.

DAILY DIVING TOURS FETHIYE

Our day starts at 9:30 a.m. With briefing, instructions, checking and signing formalities for all divers. We then head for our destinations, where you can relax and enjoy the many breathtaking little bays along the coastline, otherwise hidden from the public eye. After the first dive, lunch will be served and you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings whilst either sunbathing, swimming or snorkeling. Following these, the beginner “try” divers get prepared for their second dive in the shallow waters of the bay. Our final dive is for the experienced divers of the group, after which head back to Fethiye arriving at about 6:00 p.m.

EXPERIENCED DIVERS
For qualified divers, Dolphin Diving Center offers you the best diving sites around Fethiye, including reefs, tunnels, caves, drop-offs and archeological sites (Dating back to 300 BC with amphora and ancient wine holders attached to the rocks and where fish make their homes. This is an ideal opportunity for the under water photographer. Upon request, we do night dives. Colonel Yilmaz is one of the most experienced divers in the country and one of the pioneers in the Fethiye area, many dive sites have been discovered by him and some such as –Yilmaz cavern- bear his name.

BEGINNERS “TRY” DIVERS
Congratulations, you have made the first step of a lifetime experience. Dolphin Diving Center offers you general knowledge about the basic steps of diving, such as, equipment, underwater hand signals and safety procedures. Once you have arrived at the beginners bay you will prepared in getting ready to enter the water up to the maximum depth of 4 meters. (12 FT) During your dive you will be under constant supervision with our qualified instructors for maximum satefy.

DOLPHIN DIVING DIVE SITES

1. Red Island : Descending to 6-8 m / 20 - 24 ft you follow the natural slope of the seabed that will lead to 15 m/45 ft. Here, the underwater topography gives you the image of an amphitheatre. By 20 m / 60 ft. To enjoy the full colours of sponges, an underwater light is recommended to appreciate the colours and big groupers gliding among.
Dive site's depht: 25m / 82 ft.
Classification: Experienced

2. Yilmaz's Cave : The cave discovered by Colonel Yilmaz. Inside the cave is quite dark but there is always breathable air available inside the cave.
Dive site's depht: 7 m / 24 ft.
Classification: Intermediate- experienced

3. Tarzan Bay : Due to the entry and exit points, this site is a good location for both Beginner and experienced divers alike. The entry is into 5-m/16 ft of crystal clear water. There are all kinds of small fish in the area, which also is the final resting place of those amphoras, which, for reasons unknown, did not reach their destinations all those thousands of years ago.

Classification: Beginner - advanced

4. Amphora Bay : One of the oldest amphora sites around this part of Turkey dates back to the Roman Period, approx. 300 B.C. The entry for both options is into 4 m / 12 ft. water and slopes very steeply down to 60 m / 200 ft. There are two big rock formations that are home to many varieties of marine life, including moray eels, crayfish, clownfish, fork tails, octopus, sea aubergine, sponges, groupers and white groupers.
Dive site's depht: 30 m / 100 ft.
Classification: Intermediate - advanced

5. Eagles Nose Bay : This dive is performed at the depth of 9-12m /27-36 ft and it will gives you both great pleasure and along time underwater. You will see, touch, and play with sponges, 3000 year old amphoras, sea spiders, starfishes, octopuses, squids and many different types of fish.
Dive site's depht: 15 m / 50 ft.
Classification: Intermediate - experienced

6. Aquarium Bay : This area is like a lagoon, which is home to some beautiful orange sponges, sandfish, damselfish, combers, red mullet, clownfish, black eyes, giant groupers and octopus. Most of the fish are used to our divers and will feed from your hand.
Dive site's depht: 1 m / 3 ft.
Classification: Beginners

7. Aquarium Reef : An interesting dive with some nice drop offs along the reef. At around 20 - 25 m / 60 - 75 ft. there are some nice groupers that stay in the area,also you can sea scorpion fish under the rocks. Morays are also a common sighting during the dive, especially along the reef.

8. Sarıyarlar Bay : First drop off and than tunnels. The first of eight tunnels is at 30 m / 100 ft. where you enter. In every archway or tunnel you can see the light of the exit point and with the longest tunnel being only 4 m /13 ft. in length there is no need for guide lines and there is plenty of natural light. There is also a cavern where you can see shrimps. For this dive lights are recommended to see into smaller homes and hiding places for many species of sea life including red mullet, damselfish, shrimp, sea cucumbers, brittle stars and many types of sea anemones.

9. Dalyan Bay : Our favourite bay and an abundance of marine life in shallow waters. It is a favourite for courses, checkouts and experienced divers alike. In this small bay live octopus, large groupers, rainbow wrasse, damselfish, fork tails, red mullets, cuttlefish, clown fish, parrotfish and cardinal fish. Most of the fish are used to our divers and will feed from your hand.

Classification: Beginner to experienced

10. Dalyan River and Small Reef : One of the best dive location for beginners, you might see colourful fish, sea slugs, sponges, octopus. Photographs can be taken while you are feeding the fish. As you reach 32m the gate of tunnel welcomes you with dim lights. Only two divers can get in to the tunnel at a time because of the narrow pass with coral all along the wall. When you exit from the first tunnel which is 13 m length, you come to the second tunnel at 25m depth. The length of the second tunnel is just 7 m. The third tunnel is wider and larger than the second one.After completing the visits to the last tunnel you will ascend to 12 m. then reach the boat ending the dive.

11. Big Reef : A short distance from Dalyan Key lies the start of the reef in about 10 m / 33 ft. of water. The descent takes you to explore many types of fish and marine life. The reef is a small underwater hill that drops off to 60 m / 200 ft. on the wall side. A spectacular view. Fascinating area for experience.

12. Cavern Drop Off : A great dive with some breath-taking drop offs and colours. Near the entry point of the dive there is a small cavern at 6 m / 20 ft. which is home to some beautiful coloured strawberry anemones, daisy anemones and devonshire cup coral. The most amazing drop off looks into 40 m / 155 ft. of seabed where large groupers dwell on the bottom Most probably you will end the dive on the most colourful wall in the Aegean Sea, the drama of soft corals, anemones, sea warms, sponges and schools of fish throughout.

13. Coral Cavern and Turkish Bath : It is definitely the best dive site in all our diving area. The wall presents us the fascinating colours of the marine world. It would be a great adventure for photographers to experience this dive. Trumpet anemones, gem anemones, daisy strawberry, soft coral, anemones, lettuce coral, sea aubergine and many forms of lace corals are the permanent inhabitants of the site.

14. Octopussy's Hole : Pleasant descent down steep slope to bottom and around into the hole ;)) The colours under the natural light through the hole are amazing. Sounds very good. A dive light is essential to fully enjoy this colour exhibition that people have a chance to explore. Due to the undisturbed habitat there are many large groupers that frequent the area swimming among the prominent sponges scattered around.

15. Shrimp's Hole : The hole is at 26 m / 86 ft. and is large enough to let 5 - 6 divers enter at one time. Advance buoyancy control is critical not to stir up the bottom silt. With the help of dive lights you can explore large mullets, shrimps, soft coral and some groupers hiding among the cracks. The underwater photographers will get excellent photographs of buddies as they are ascending through the amazing underwater archway by the exit.

16. Afkule I : Another fascinating dive site! First you will go down to 24m very slowly to enjoy the beautiful view then find the entrance of the shrimp's hole!!! This quite big cavern is home to red type small shrimp. After spending about 10 min. time we will ascend to 12m. then 4m. And make 200m. To find the great gate of a cave which 10 divers may get into easily at the same time. The cave is so big that you need to kick your fins for about 50m. Then you will be able to find the end of the cave. Now all you need to do is turn back and see the sunlight running into the cave! And after enjoying the view you may surface and with your torch check all the calcium status made by mother nature.

17. Afkule II : Again another great wall dive for drop off lovers! While you are making this dive you will understand why we say it's great to dive in the Mediterranean! All these colours, all these creatures are only all together in Fethiye! At 28m a small cavern full of shrimps just waiting for the quests! And then the wall continues so endlessly to final of the dive!

Lykia world diving centre is a PADI dive resort located in Olüdeniz with the best dive sites in the area right at our doorstep. We offer daily dive trips for novices and qualified  divers. We also offer all padi courses from total beginners up to instructor level. Specialties are on offer as well. Our instructors teach in English, German, Russian and Turkish. your enjoyment and safety is our top priority.

KIDRAK : Kıdrak is a dive site full of discovery with a variety of life and something new around every corner. Many fresh water springs give an interesting effect and this draws in many different species of marine life from numerous types of fish to Moray eels and Octopus. On the 15 metre wall there is a whole variety of different types of soft corals, sponges and anenomies, the wall leads to a small grotto at a depth of 12 metres. Make sure you have your torch to have a good look around. On the way back you will pass through a wonderful passageway before again passing through the fresh water springs.

IBLIS POINT : One of furthest dive sites, fantastic rock formations hiding morays. Great drop offs, amphora. Abundant marine life including Rays, Crayfish, Large Groupers, Jackfish, Blennies. There’s plenty to see and photograph in the numerous holes/crack on the wall and reefs. The dive finishes in the bay and there waiting for you are flounder fish scanning your every movement.

Direction Of Dive : Out & back along coast starting northwards with shore on right.
Boat Positioning : From Drop Off will move into bay.
Points Of Interest : Big groupers and sponges at depth.
Any Potential Hazards : Good buoyancy control on descent/depth
Class Of Diver : Intermediate – Advanced

GROUPER LAYER : A lovely dive for both the novice and the experienced, with much to see from a wall with yellow coral to a larger will with much marine life and an old car wreck at a shallow depth.

Direction Of Dive : Go from the plateau and down the rocky slope, when you have reached your maximum depth turn to your left and follow the wall the acend to the second plateau and turn back following the wall on your right.
Points Of Interest : Yellow coral wall, car wreck and wall
Any Potential Hazards : Watch your buoyancy.
Class Of Diver : For all certified divers.

HOUSE REEF : The House Reef lies directly on the doorstep of Lykiaworld. Almost as soon as the dive begins you will see the remains of an old footbridge, destroyed years ago from a mighty winter storm. Take a look in the old pipes, it is always worthwhile, as no-one knows what could be hiding inside, anenomies, hermit crabs and maybe the odd Noray Eel. Continue on to 18 metres where there is part of a destroyed footbridge, large Grouper have made this their home.

Direction Of Dive : From the Pier go North (Parallel to shoreline) until you see a rope.

LOBSTER POT : A nice dive, huge boulders at the start of the dive with some large Groupers. Keep the shore on your right and head towards the point, there can be a current in this area. There are lots of holes in the rocks with Lobsters hiding in them, also keep an eye out for Octopus and the occasional Turtle.

Direction Of Dive : From entry swim along the shoreline with the coast on your right
Boat Positioning : The boat will follow SMB around the point.
Points Of Interest : Large rocks with nice soft corals and Groupers, check in all holes for Lobsters.

MEXICAN HAT : The name comes from the shape of the hole which goes up and look like a Mexican hat. The hole is at 20m/66ft and is large enough to accommodate 6/8 divers at a time. Also good buoyancy is important to stop stirring up the bottom, which is sandy. Using your dive light you can find large mullet, shrimps, soft coral and some groupers hiding amongst the cracks. The hole also homes some moray eels that lay and wait for some unsuspecting prey. At the exit for the dive there is an amazing underwater archway one can get excellent photographs of buddies swimming through.

Direction Of Dive : From Drop Off down to hole then south with shore on one’s left side
Boat Positioning : Wait above dive site.
Points Of Interest : Hole formations / Drop Offs /Archways.
Any Potential Hazards : Good buoyancy control on descent. Don’t go into the hole beyond the guide diver.
Class Of Diver : Experienced Divers Only

PINNICALE ROCK : As you arrive at this Dive Site keep your eyes open for the rock which sits just below the surface. The rib drops you on the south of the rock down to about 10m. You will see very prominent gravel path leading down between some huge rocks. Follow it down to a sandy bottom at 30m then turn right keeping rock on your right. Keeping your eyes peeled for morays crayfish, octopus and grouper etc. Also, there is a well-hidden amphora field with some nice examples of this ancient form of pottery. Turn right up between some gullies, which go almost vertical slowly making your way up some nice platos’ at 25m & 16m to finish a lovely dive back where you started.

PLAYGROUND : This dive is suitable for all Divers. At every depth there are many holes and passages to swim through and around, where you can find many different types of Anenomies and corals. In the holes and fissures lurk Shrimps and moray Eels.
Dept Time : 18 metres 50 minutes or 50 bar
Direction Of Dive : Boat is anchored. Shore on left side first then right side coming back                
Points Of Interest : Many holes and passages, great for novice divers
Any Potential Hazards : Watch your divers through the holes and passages.
Class Of Diver : For all divers

SECRET GARDEN : Descend down to 25m and find a small cavern exit first cavern and continue until you come to a huge cavern with the ceiling at 6m and floor at 27m. Cavern goes into the cliff for approx. 20m. Take a torch and see the amazing rich colours of the sponges and soft corals. Exit cavern and swim through arch at 24m. Start a gradual ascent with interesting rock formations and schools of fish.

Direction Of Dive : Keep the wall on your left.
Boat Positioning : Boat follows SMB.
Points Of Interest : Huge cavern with nice rock formations and plateaus.
Any Potential Hazards : No access to surface in cavern. Deep dive.
Class Of Diver : Experienced divers only.

CATHEDRAL : After leaving the boat descend immediately to the tunnel entrance at 36 metres. When entering the tunnel make sure your tourch is on and see the amazing rich colours of the sponges and soft corals as well as shrimps staring back at you from the many nooks and cranny’s. Have a look around, but keep an eye on your air and buoyancy and leave enough time to visit the cathedral. Off to the right is a large crack, once inside you will see Stalactites and Stalagmites that have formed to resemble and Alter. After leaving the Cathedral continue through the tunnel to the exit and follow the wall keeping it on your right hand side.

Direction Of Dive : From the boat go through the Tunnel and follow the coast on the right.
Boat Positioning : Anchored.
Points Of Interest : Tunnel and cave with alter.
Any Potential Hazards : Deep dive and keep an eye on your buoyancy

BUTTERFLY VALLEY WALL : This popular valley is as beautiful below the water as it as above. We start this dive at the opening of the bay. Dropping down a sheer face and following this spectacular wall into the bay. Finishing off your dive with the boat waiting for you.

Direction Of Dive : Boat drops divers at entrance to Butterfly Valley, follow coastline toward the beach, keeping cliff surface on the right hand side
Boat Positioning : Boat follows SMB
Points Of Interest : Huge shoals of triggerfish, spectacular wall
Any Potential Hazards : Stay close to coastline and monitor depth closely as ocean floor slopes away dramatically in places
Class Of Diver : Experienced

CANNON BALL BAY : A nice varied dive Site. You get dropped into 8m, down a wall keeping the coast line on you left. Have a hunt around the large rocks until you come across some grooves. The bay is littered with catapult balls and lead cannon balls continue until you get to the island which is surrounded by gravel. The island has some nice overhangs and is worth looking around and up out form the island over the huge slabs much the same as topography of the land down towards the other side of the bay into about 12m where the boat will be waiting to pick you up. This Dive Site is ideal for the Experienced diver in need of an orientation Dive and anyone who has just completed a Discover Scuba course, also an excellent Night Dive Site.

Direction Of Dive : Drop in just off the point onto a 8m wall, follow bay aroundkeeping coastline on left side.
Boat Positioning : Boat anchored in the bay
Points Of Interest : Large grooves carved into ocean floor, numerous very largecatapult balls and some smaller lead balls.
Any Potential Hazards : Dropping a catapult ball on your foot!!!
Class Of Diver : Novice – Intermediate

BLUE CAVE WALL : Once leaving the boat go down steeply; however watch out for the drop-off that goes down to 40 metres. After a short while there is a gentle slope, where there are many grouper and Trigger fish hiding amoungst the rocks and boulders. Closer to the coastline you will see many colourful fish. Once around the point on the left hand side is a large crack where fresh water meets sea water, Moray Eels have made this place their home. Before rejoining the boat, have a look around the rocks for schooling fish.

BALABAN ISLAND : An Island in the open sea!! We have seen more turtle’s in this dive than all previous sightings together. The Island drops off to over 400 m / 1230 ft, so starring into the big blue is a must. There are a number of spinylobsters and Cray fish in the holes and cracks of the island, these are of course to photograph, not catch!!! Rays have also beenspotted lingering in the area of this island.

Direction Of Dive : Move north down around Island with shore on left side. Then multilevel back
Boat Positioning : Wait on east side
Points Of Interest : Nice drop off and walls and crayfish.

AMPHORA CAVE : Great opportunity for photographers, with many amphoras and one dating back a few hundred years ago and of course a beautiful cave which flows with light. Watch sandy areas for the stingrays.

Direction Of Dive : Follow shore on the left side all the way through the dive
Points Of Interest : A lovely cave which flows with light and outside the cave oneamphora dating back a few hundred years.

ALADDIN’S CAVERN : Probably the best dive in the world’ well it’s a slight exaggeration but it is definitely the best dive in our area. The wall that one starts the dive is so colorful and there are many varieties of marine life to photograph. Along the fauna and coral wall you will find trumpet anemones, daisy anemones, devonshire cup corals, gold star corals, soft corals, dead man fingers, sea fans and many form of lace coral. The moray linger in the holes and cracks along with small shrimp and bennies. The exit point is inside an open cavern where most beautiful scenery above and below the water awaits you.
