Günlüklü Koyu has a lot of Günlük trees so naturally this is how the bay was named. This is another bay preferred by many local people who will visit during the weekend. This bay also has a spring, which can be reached by road from the Göcek and Dalaman direction. Inlets can be found around the bay for those who don’t like crowded places and are looking for peace and quiet.

It gets its name from the extremely rare Günlük Trees. Günlük trees (Sweetgum) are used in the production of pharmaceuticals and perfumes. The delicious scent wafting around the bay especially at sunrise and sunset comes from these trees, has large numbers of sweet-smelling sweetgum trees (Liquidambar orientalis). The secretion from these trees is used in the treatment of many illnesses, such as itching, asthma, bronchitis, ulcers and stomach disorders, as well as by the perfume industry.

Günlüklü Bay is a green natural wonder within the Günlük Trees which do not allow sunlight through. This green bay among the trees, is a place to picnic, lay on the hammocks and enjoy the sun. With a calm crystal sea, fine pebble beach Fethiye Günlüklü Bay, is the ideal location for a quiet and peaceful weekend with its tranquil atmosphere. One must not forget to mention that during the summer months boat tours and daily visitors fill the bay.

This cove is on N of Kargılı, ends in a shingle beach. There is a tasty well water behind greenary area. The settings are attractive. You can anchor in 10 m and take a line ashore. There is an outlet for the boats where you can fill up the tanks.

The 500-meter long beach has thin sands; the sea water deepens after 10 meters. Gunluklu Bay is a shallow sandy beach near sytrax forest. It has facility of picnic, shower and WC.  The visiters pays an daily entrance fee. There is also a club hotel with nice architecture and service. It is a matter of time to begin swimming with the groupers that leave their eggs here and are forbidden to hunt.

Camping
There is also a camp site in the Günlük tree forest. A delightful place for tent or caravan tourism. Basic requirements for campers such as water, electricity are provided. You can spend a few days in the Günlüklü Bay with its rare Sweetgum Forests, cool off in the Mediterranean and enjoy the sun. You can also go for a stroll and discover new places.

Gunluklu was once a very popular camping area with good quality facilities but now because of the trees have become quite rare they are now being protected by the local government which has made the bay more of a place used by daily visitors, caravaners and the gulet cruises, although the Department of National Parks continues to adequately operate it as a camping ground.

The Bay Beach Club
Günlüklü Bay is a private bay. The Bay Beach Club is the only settlement on the bay that spans an area of 200 thousand square meters. The facility with 46 wooden bungalows under the sweet gum trees is an option that can be considered by those who want to be refreshed and indulged with their pool, beach, hammocks and especially the spa where they use sweet gum tree oil.

Chickens, roosters, peacocks, and pigeons walk around freely on the grounds of the facility. Wild ducks and turtles swim in the lake happily.  The hotel has activities such as diving, sailing, angling, beach volleyball, horse safari, and trekking. Sailing courses are of great interest. For those who want to do trekking in pine forests, there are marked trails. Walk through the trails under the sweet gum trees; drink a glass of lemonade in a hammock; read a book at the banks of Sığla Lake; take a boat tour to the surrounding bays and the 12 Islands.

BOYNUZ BÜKÜ ANCHORAGE

There is a wooden pontoon in the bay for yachts that wish to moor. This bay is also covered with Günlük trees and if you take a walk around to explore the area you will find many types of plants, birds and wildlife.

Boynuz Bükü is sitated two miles NE of Tomb Bay. It is one of the few anchorages where it is possible to free anchor in reasonable depths of 8 - 10 metres close to the head of the bay. Holding here is mud and excellent. One can also anchor around the bay in the usual 15 - 20 metres with a line ashore to a bollard. Note that a reef extends for some 60 - 70 metres from the north side of the bay, so care is needed if arriving from this direction. It is a big bay located on the opposite coast of Yassıca Islands.

As it is in a spot hardly affected by prevailing winds, you can anchor anywhere in this bay, which is secure enough to shelter your yacht throughout the year. After staying in this bay for as long as you wish, let's hoist up the anchor and unfurl the sails in search of another turquoise world. There are springs ashore and creeks running into the bay, so the shoreline is dotted with reeds and oleanders.

Boynuzbükü is a large bay on the west of Küçük Yılanlı Islet, indenting to the west and ends with a wide greenary layout. A stream on south comes into the sea. This side is shallow and marshy. The norhern and southern slopes are covered by pine trees. Finger points extend from both shores and there are10 - 20 m depths. You can tuck yourself in with a line ashore. The depth in the bight on NW is shallower. These anchorages provide adequate shelter in prevailing winds. It is one of the best bays in the Fethiye Gulf region to chill out in.

A restaurant in front of the pier is open during the summer season. The staff will wave you in and help you with mooring. You can moor stern too on the jetty or drop anchor in the bay. T-jetty with moorings on the right side. The depth outside is 3.6 m and inside 3 m. In total there is enough space for up to 20 boats outside and 15 inside. Good depth all over with 3.6 m at the jetty.

Spring water and 220V electricty available at the jetty. Showers, Barber available. A classic Turkish one restaurant in bay, containing nothing more than a jetty and a small restaurant. The reed beds at the head of the bay make for slightly different surroundings to the other bays in the areas.

This cove is on the north of the light tower of Göcek Island, ends in a shingle beach surronded by pine trees. The water is clear and the cove provides good shelter in prevailing winds. Within the caption of preservation regulation applications; floating buoys and bollards are placed in the bay. Anchoring is no more allowed. You can pick up the mooring and take a line to the bollard if you wish.

There is a restaurant ashore with T-pier, having berthing capacity up to 10 boats. There are laid moorings tailed on pier. Restaurant has boat taxi service from and to Göcek (1.3 mi). This cove is open to powerboat cruising route, it is sometimes boomy. The settings are very attractive. Boats stay here for a long time because of easy access to Göcek.

Büyük Koy

This cove is on the NW corner of Göcek Island. Pine trees ring the bay and the setting is magnificient. In accordance with cruising and anchoring regulations for the preservation of environment of Göcek bays; anchoring is no more allowed here.

There are floating moorings and bollards in the bay. This bay affords all-round shelter. Nights are distinctive here where there is full moon.

Ak Bükü, which is located N of Boynuz Bükü and W of Göcek Adası, is comprised of two bays, one situated in the S and the other in the N. There is a large boulder situated in the entrance of the bay, whereas there is a beach and a fountain amidst the pine trees on the N shore. Several bays line the shores between here and Göcek.

Atbükü is a large bay, indenting to the NW, it is open to the south. A finger point divides the bay into two coves. Both sides are sandy. Boats can anchor off the beach on the west shore in 5 - 8 meters. Consider this a fair-weather anchorage for swimming breaks for tripping boats.

One of these is Günlüklü Koyu, decorated with styrax trees in the immediate vicinity. Another is Osmanağa Koyu, which is located on the other side of the peninsula which borders Günlüklü Koyu.

However, beware of the small islet S of the bay which renders passage between this islet and the shore impossible. Extending out into the sea like a tongue, Ince Burun Peninsula is situated next to Osmanağa Koyu.

Depths shelve toward marshland. Both sides are adequate for anchoring with a line ashore.

There are a lot of reeds in the bay. One side of the bay is a bit muddy therefore after sunset the mosquitoes invade the bay. The calm water within the bay makes it a good choice for those families with children.

Göcek is a small town in Fethiye district in Muğla Province, Turkey. Göcek is situated on Dalaman-Fethiye highway. Göcek has all the necessary infrastructure, capacity, and amenities expected in a tourism center, yet it is renowned as a much more peaceful and quiet settlement than some other tourism areas.

It was named “Kalimche” in ancient times, and is located between Fethiye - Telmessos in ancient times - and Dalyan - Caunos in ancient times. According to the legends, it is in the Göcek area that Icarus landed in the sea after his famous flight trying to escape from the tower where he is imprisoned. Göcek was used as a harbour for the ships loading chrome ore collected from the mines in the mountains around during the Ottoman period.

A prominent characteristic of the town is the fact that it harbors islands and coves located in a large and secluded bay. Owing to its location, it naturally enjoys a high potential for yacht tourism. In 1988, Göcek was declared a Registered Area of Special Protection. Therefore, multi-storey buildings are not allowed, the tourist accommodation facilities are two-storied hotels, motels, apartment hotels, and pensions situated in the town center and its periphery.

With its secluded bay, the harbor is quiet and safe, especially for long-distance travelers arriving from international waters. Göcek coves and the 12 islands, which are described as a hidden paradise, with clean Mediterranean water, green pine forests, and beaches, have rendered Göcek an indispensable destination for seafarers.

MARINA

Göcek Exclusive is situated in Poruklu Bay, which is 10 minutes away from the centre of Göcek, a town of Fethiye district in Muğla, and 20 minutes away from Dalaman International Airport. The marina is in a secluded bay, the most protected area of Göcek, and provides good shelter.The only natural beach in Göcek town is located in this bay.

The marina is established mainly to accommodate super and mega yachts and meets the current need of mooring places for these yachts. We give service to yachts of 18 meters and above, according to modern management standards, along with floating docks built to the highest standards of comfort and modern technogy. Yacht owners can spend time on their own specially designed covered “floating verandas”, and take advantage of “cafe bistro” units on the pontoon throughout their stay in the marina.

Lifting & launching and all the necessary wintering services are provided at the request of the yacht owners at “Marinturk Göcek Village Port” boatyard area under the same management. The maintenance works are provided by highly distinguished and experinced subcontractor companies in the boatyard area. The marina is proud of its service, with its experienced staff that provide an exclusive’ facility.

MARINA

Our marina and boatyard are situated in Büngüş Bay in Gocek, a town of Fethiye district in Muğla, only five minutes from the town centre and 20 minutes from Dalaman International Airport. The marina and its experienced staff provide you with mooring places and a dry storage area in the vicinity of Gocek, which has become popular mostly among charter companies and private yacht owners, especially during the summer season.

We provide lifting, launching and every kind of maintenance services in an area of 30.000 m2 with two travelifts (75 ton and 200 ton) for private yachts and charter yachts. Also, we will be playing an important role as logistics support to counter the difficulties associated with short stays of charter yachts.

This cove lies on the south of point; Ince Burun ends with a reedy shoreline. This cove affords sheltering from breeze. Boats can anchor on the south and take a line ashore.

The beach side is on the north and covered by pine trees under greenary layout. The pines come right to the water's edge. There is a well with tasty water; is known as Osmanağa.

This bay is a favorite picnic spot of inhabitants on weekends. A path goes to Göcek.

MARINA

Club Marina is the first natural and private marina of Turkey and provides service in a 44,998.32 m2 area in total and is the safest natural marina of Turkey by its position. Club Marina
is the unique Marina able to host Mega Yachts in Göcek. We provide not only all the technical infrastructure and special security you need but you may also take advantage of our beach, restaurant, cafe, bar, Turkish bath and accommodation facilities which are conceived to add value to your relaxation and holiday program.

Approaching
When approaching from the Ölü Deniz direction, you can reach the Göcek harbour by following the Göcek Island route. First proceed by keeping the "Dökükbaşı Burnu" on the starboard side and the Göcek Island Lighthouse on the port side. As soon as you pass Göcek Island you will be in the inner harbour of Göcek. The Club Marina Lighthouse will be visible on the port side. When you continue, keeping this lighthouse on the port side, two gigantic green coloured fuel containers, belonging to Mopak, will be seen ahead of you.

After passing the Club Marina Lighthouse, turn 90 degrees to port and this will bring Club Marina into sight. Club Marina is a private marina founded at Büngüş Bay, which is one of the most beautiful and natural bays of the Mediterranean. Göcek village is in the area of Fethiye Town.

Electricity : Club Marina has an efficient electric distribution network and a 875 kWh generator. There are also 134 switch boards in our marina and a total of 226 outputs on the switch boards. Water : Water connection is provided from the existing panels. Each panel has 2 water outputs.
Shower & WC : You can use our showers with hot water and WCs  24 hours on 4 different points of the marina.
Supermarket : You can shop from Carrefoursa between the hours of 08:00 - 21:00.
ATM and Banks : All ATMs and banks are in Göcek centre.
WI-FI : Our marina provides 24h free internet service. Please contact our office for the passwords.
Fuel oil : Our filling station equipped with high-tech pumps provide 24h service all the year round. Our station has the possibility and capacity to collect your wasted water during the fuel purchase.

Accommodation
There are 10 villa-type bungalows in our marina. You will be able to find the quiet and peace you are looking for in our studio flats, suites and ultra-luxurious suites with sea and pinewood view. All our rooms have kitchen, air-conditioning, telephone, internet service, shower&WC and we provide room service. You may stay in the Bungalows within our marina. We also have a private beach, a restaurant, a captains’ café, a supermarket, a Turkish bath and many other facilities in there.

Fire Safety
A 7.30 m fire safety boat with foam and sea water fire fighting systems and equipped with dry chemical powder systems are non-stop ready for 24h for any emergency. Our safety boat may be used for towing, rescue and disembarkation. All our jetties are equipped with dry chemical powder fire fighting systems of various dimensions which are periodically maintained.
Our filling station has a separate fire fighting unit.

Ferry Service
Free ferry service is available between Club Marina and the Skopea Marina (Downtown Göcek) starting from 07:45 am until Midnight during the summer season. Ferry Service schedules are on a seasonal basis and displayed on the information boards and in the Marina Office

NW Göcek Bay
It is off Club Marina. This anchorage offers slightly better shelter in southerly winds, but is deep. Anchor in 15 - 20 metres well to the north of the marina mooring buoys. The bottom is mud and good holding.

MARINA

Situated in Göcek centre, Skopea Marina is very close to all the facilities and leisure centres that our guests may need to fulfil their needs. Positioned at the most convenient point of Göcek for anchorage, our marina has mooring capacity for 80 boats. Our marina is connected to the boat 110 meter long.

Skopea Marina provides service in a 5,371 m2 area in total and is one of the two marinas of Göcek able to host mega yachts. We provide not only all the technical infrastructure and special security you need but you may also take advantage of our restaurant, café and bar which are conceived to add value to your relaxation and holiday program.

There are several parking places in all around the marina. Our marina situated in Gocek coast near Gocek centre is at walking distance from all the facilities and leisure centres.

Capacity : Mooring 85 yachts

Draught max:  5 meters
Larger yachts moor on the southern side of the wharf. The depth is 4 - 5 meters on this side and about 3 meters on the inner side. There are mooring lines on both sides of the wharf.

Berthing Facilities
Skopea Marina offers excellent berthing facilities for up to 85 yachts from April to November. All berths have mooring lines, water and electricity 380 V - 125 A. Power supply is available for larger yachts.

Shore Facilities
Shore facilities currently include toilets and hot-water showers which are free for all berth holders. Waste bins are provided for garbage and dirty oil disposal free of charge. Our friendly and helpful staff is available 24 hrs a day to assist you.

Location
The concrete wharf of Skopea Marina, located in Göcek Harbor extends in the west direction.

GÖCEK
Göcek is a small town in Fethiye district in Muğla Province, Turkey. Göcek is situated on Dalaman-Fethiye highway. Göcek has all the necessary infrastructure, capacity, and amenities expected in a tourism center, yet it is renowned as a much more peaceful and quiet settlement than some other tourism areas.

It was named “Kalimche” in ancient times, and is located between Fethiye - Telmessos in ancient times - and Dalyan - Caunos in ancient times. According to the legends, it is in the Göcek area that Icarus landed in the sea after his famous flight trying to escape from the tower where he is imprisoned. Göcek was used as a harbour for the ships loading chrome ore collected from the mines in the mountains around during the Ottoman period.

A prominent characteristic of the town is the fact that it harbors islands and coves located in a large and secluded bay. Owing to its location, it naturally enjoys a high potential for yacht tourism. In 1988, Göcek was declared a Registered Area of Special Protection. Therefore, multi-storey buildings are not allowed, the tourist accommodation facilities are two-storied hotels, motels, apartment hotels, and pensions situated in the town center and its periphery.

With its secluded bay, the harbor is quiet and safe, especially for long-distance travelers arriving from international waters. Göcek coves and the 12 islands, which are described as a hidden paradise, with clean Mediterranean water, green pine forests, and beaches, have rendered Göcek an indispensable destination for seafarers.
