A skilled staff,modern 20 tons and 70 tons travellifts and 30 tons mobil boat trolley. To make the stay of the yacht-owner as comfortable as possible we offer permanent electricity and water supply, international public telephone, fax and e-mail access. A professional staff fluent in Turkish, English and German increase efficiency.
LIFTING OPERATION
We have lifted and launched yachts more than 20,000 times and our lift operators move up to 10/12 yachts per day with our two travel lifts (70 T. and 25 T.) and one boat mover (30 T.)
The yacht stays in the slings in the lifting-dock while checks are being carried out. The yachts in the yard are insured up to US$ 1.500.000 according M.O.L.C.
STORAGE
Our boatyard can accomodate up to 300 yachts which are choked up with metal supports approved by our insurance company. All the supports are checked every 15 days and the yachts rigging and awnings are checked after storms and heavy rain. If yacht owner requests we check the bilge and ventilate the yacht.
In our yard there are sufficient number of prepaid electricity & water control panels (pedestals) and they are close to every yacht. We provide access ladders and scaffolding where required. We have a pool designed especially for washing sails. The wi-fi is assessable from all over the yard and is complimentary.
In our office we provide phone, fax and internet facilities. Our clean wc/showers have 24h hot water. There are plenty of fire-valves and a tanker. We have a generator as a precaution for power cuts. We have a 24h on-site security backed up with security cameras. We have a restaurant where you can dine or have your lunch as well as sip your cold beer after you have spent a tiring hot day preparing your boat.
Yatlift provides storage on hard standing for more than 300 yachts with ; single and three-phase electricity, water, independant power supply via a generator, yacht access ladders and scaffolding, shower/wc with 24hour hot water, a pool to wash sails, wi-fi accessible from all over the yard, phone-fax and a special parking lot, all situated on a asphalted area of 20000 sqm surrounded by olive trees.
Lifting dock allows yachts to berth alongside when they need technical service afloat as well as to be hauled out with travel lifts rated 20 and 70 tons. After being lifted the yachts are transported with a 30 ton-trailley and securely supported on hard standing with fully adjustable metal stands.
Besides short term storage and long term wintering facilities our technical workshops and skilled personnel provide maintenance services to international standards. We have a 24 hour on-site security supported by security cameras.

The aim of our purchasing department is to find the best material for your yacht. A professional staff using a modern technical equipment should definitaly use high quality material and products to garanty an excellent result. Our Technical Market next to be well stocked in engine parts for Volvo Penta an Caterpillar has about 1.600 different items on stock. They are grouped as :
Structural materials: Like noncorrosive metals tropical woods water resistant wood products
Fasteners: Screws, nuts, bolts, washers, rivets in bronze, stainless steel and monel
Rigging products: Rigging screws, swage and Norseman fittings , Stainless wire copper ferrule, winches, blocks
Adhesives and lamination products: Mainly epoxy products, several brands and mary varieties for different applications
Paints and fillers: Primers, undercoats, tack coats, antifoulings, topcoats. Mainly epoxy and polyurethane products. Solvent based and solvent free.
Paint applicators and auxiliary products: Disposable brushes, fine brushes, rollers, trays, masking tape, fine line tape etc.
Abrasives: Mainly the excellent 3 m range
Engine spares: Caterpillar Volvo Penta , Yanmar, Ford, Perkins
Plumbing materials: In bronze, plastics, brass, galvanized steel, hoses in PVC and neoprene

Please note that we are entitled to reimburtse VAT on major products like engines, sails, windlasses upon proof of inventorizing on foreing flagged yachts.
Engine
Engine work at Yat Lift is in the hands of specialists, trained by Caterpillar, Volvo, Yanmar and other manufacturers. Their work included inspection, preventive maintenance, repair and advise as well as the complete overhaul of engines, generators, gearboxes, windlasses etc. Usual spare parts for engines of internetional brands are in stock at Yat Lift. Other spare parts may be obtained at short notice.
In our workshop we carry out oil change and periodic services according to the manufacturers recommendations. Furthermore we carry out rebuilding of marine internal combustion engines, injector test and adjustment rebuilding installation of drive legs and gearboxes. We carefully install and align marine propulsion plants. We are an authorized marine dealer and service centre for : Volvo Penta, Yanmar.
Mechanic
Welding is a process for joining separate pieces of metal in a continuous metallic bond. It is a very delicate work that needs to be done on a level of high quality to last for a long time especially in a salty environment. We operate a workshop that is equipped with several TIG (tingsten invent gas) welding next to conventional welding machines.
We have wide extensive experience with stainless steell welding and welding ‘exotic’ metals like bronze or aluminium. We use special techniques to passivate welded parts against seawater. We are also able to locate hidden welding defects. Together with a strong plasma cutting systemwe can meet all metal joining requirements of modern and classic yachts.
Paint
The Yat Lift paint crew has mastered the science of modern paints. High-tech painting methods and products are used for the completion of many jobs. At Yat Lift steel yachts are regulary sandblasted,above and below waterline and treated with a two-component,solvent-free,epoxy-coating system.In addition,fiberglass yachts with osmosis are also successfully treated in the our osmosis center.
Carpentery
The Turkish coast has a long tradition of wooden ships. Yat Lift continues this tradition with its team of experts. Hi- tech, as well as traditional skills are utilised for anything from renovating the hull to laying new teakdecks, building gratings, furniture, or lamination in wood and epoxy. A carefully installed electric system is one of the most important aspect of a well maintained and secure yacht. Our staff is trained in considering the salty wet, oblique enviroment that is chewing on windlasses and other electrical systems. It is our challenge to develop customized solutions for each yacht. Our electrical workshop, together with a very selective purchasing department, has the right materials and the right technology to meet the needs of the distinguishing yacht owner.

Once the boat has been lifted out of the water all batteries are taken to the battery service centre checked as to their state by computer and recharged according to the manufacturer’s specification.
The owner receives a maintenance protocol at the end of the layup period.
We can also provide new high quality Bosch batteries with two years guarantee by the manufacturer as well as Delco Batteries, free of maintenance with one year guarantee.
BEACH AND RESTAURANT
Our private beach and special restaurant serve yacht owners.
TRANSPORT
Yatlift is located only 4 km southeast of Bodrum city centre. The airport is only 40 km from the yard.
