Çökertme Cove is either the first or last stop of the Blue Cruise boats that leave from Bodrum and is an indispensable stopping point. Çökertme Beach is a small district of the village of Gökbel and is like handmade lace work. Çökertme has a very clean sand beach for swimming and has many coves that are suitable for yachts to spend the night.
As soon as the boats show up on the horizon of Çökertme to spend the night speed boats from the restaurants draw next to them and insist on tourists coming to dine in their restaurants. Choose the restaurant where you are going to eat by seeing it and negotiate prices ahead.
Çökertme Bay is the inescapable stop of every sailor on a Blue Cruise in Gökova Gulf. Çökertme, once known with a folk song about unfortunate lovers, now has a fame of its magical beauty welcoming travelers arriving to this natural harbor from the sea.

The azure waters of the Mediterranean, the Aegean, and the Black Sea, as well as the Sea of Marmara, surround There are marinas, yacht building boatyards, yachtsmen hotels, yacht clubs, yacht technical services. Turkey to the south, west and north. With over 8,333 km of coastline along the four seas, Turkey is a treasure chest of coves, inlets, bays and beaches at which yachtsmen can choose a different, private anchorage each night.
Sailing in Turkey also allows visitors to experience the hospitality of the people in the coastal villages and towns. The tempered winds blowing from west and northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting, and seem to encourage an appreciation of nature. From some of the turquoise coast's unspoilt and sheltered bays you can see mountain peaks rising to almost 3000 meters above sea level.
