Altınkoy indents to the north on the northern shores of Gulf of Sığacık. The name of this bay is also known as Ömerali Bay, took it’s from the name of the farm nearby. The bay ends with long sandy beach. Altınkoy efforts good shelter in all but southerly winds. The bottom is sand.
Yachts drop off anchor in 4 - 5 meters. This bay gets crowded on weekends. Care is needed at night for the buoy in the middle, belonging to Coast Guard.
