Sailing in Turkey also allows visitors to experience the hospitality of the people in the coastal villages and towns. The tempered winds blowing from west and northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting, and seem to encourage an appreciation of nature. YARIMADA COVE ANCHORAGE

Urla - İzmir - Turkey

GPS : 38°12'17.8"N 26°41'21.1"E / 38.204936, 26.689185

Yarım Ada Koyu is on the northern side of Gulf Sığacık. It provides all round shelter. Boats should enter into the bay from the east of sea level rocks; they are easily identified at the entry.

Drop anchor in 3 - 4 meters. The bay is open to south. The bay ends in a nice oval shaped beach. There is a cafe at the northern hill. A path leads to Demirci Limanı, it is a walking distance.
