Sailing in Turkey also allows visitors to experience the hospitality of the people in the coastal villages and towns. The tempered winds blowing from west and northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting, and seem to encourage an appreciation of nature. From some of the turquoise coast's unspoilt and sheltered bays you can see mountain peaks rising to almost 3000 meters above sea level.

Papaz Boğazı is a pretty bay on the northwest of Gulf of Sığacık. The bay provides safe shelter except in southerlies. A bight on the east of the tip in the middle has room only for 2 - 3 boats.

There are 8 - 10 meters depth in this bight. The settings are attractive; you can enjoy your own pool surrounded by beauty.

There is a soda water heal off the shore. This spring is famous for it’s ‘’beautifying mud’’.
