Akbük, Didim, a coastal township with its own municipality in Didim, Aydın Province in south-west Turkey. Akbük has a small centre with just a few local shops. However it is also the home to the holiday resort hotel which boasts a number of facilities such as a sauna, fully equipped gym, outdoor pool, tennis courts and its own selection of hotel shops. Akbük is surrounded by forests with olive and pine trees. The region has many small clean beaches and bays, the sea is clean, safe and warm. Akbük is also said to have the highest oxygen ratio and lowest humidity rate in Turkey. This would make Akbük the perfect location for people suffering from health problems such as asthma.
The sea and mountain views surrounding Akbük are breathtaking and the sea breezes and soft sandy beaches are perfect for a hot summer’s day. Weekends are the busiest time for Akbük shores like another sea side town Altınkum.
