Kaleiçi, has narrow, winding streets enclosed in ancient city walls, which now protect the peaceful quarter from the noise of the concrete metropolis of a million people. The northern part (Selçuk and Tuzcular sections) of Kaleiçi is mostly touristy shops and restaurants lining the narrow mazelike streets. The Kılınçarslan section is a little more quiet and still charming. Although there are other entrances, it is best to enter and exit the old quarter from charming Hadrianus Gate, built by the Roman emperor Hadrianus as the entrance arch to the city. Hadrian Gate will lead you to Kılınçarslan district.
This marina is part of a very historic city; Kaleiçi, in the historic heart of old Antalya Town, is littered with Roman ruins just waiting to be discovered. This small marina is on the step of the "old city" which leads straight to these historical wonders. The marina houses a luxurious hotel with splendid views of the port. Since Kaleiçi is seen to be the centre of Antalya, and is one of the most animated parts of the city, you will never be short of things to do.
There was the old harbour, now a marina, encircled by the city walls. The harbour scene looked quite different by morning and by evening, each as beautiful as the other, with the light slowly flashing at the end of the breakwater, the sailing boats of all shapes and sizes, and the palm trees and date palms along the waterfront. It is no wonder that King Attalos II of Pergamum declared this spot to be heaven on earth when he first came here.
Antalya Port over the ramparts being built some 18 centuries ago, reaching said spot via wooden stairs being "guests" at the centuries' old "mansions" facing the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean and turning their back to the macadam paved streets of the Old City.

Starboard side of the entry is shallow. Saint Dei Die reef is at the entry. Kaleiçi Marina provides easy access to the historical sites.
There are laid moorings, tailed on pontoons.
