Sailing in Turkey also allows visitors to experience the hospitality of the people in the coastal villages and towns. The tempered winds blowing from west and northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting, and seem to encourage an appreciation of nature. From some of the turquoise coast's unspoilt and sheltered bays you can see mountain peaks rising to almost 3000 meters above sea level.

Adrasan (Çavuşköy) is a village in the District of Kumluca, Antalya Province. The cove is surrounded by pine trees like a painter’s palette in blues and greens. The Adrasan stream reaching the shore sets a marvellous environment for boutique hotels. The restaurants with wooden platforms over the stream are the perfect spots for good relaxation. Ducks accompany the visitors during their stay. The peaceful Adrasan beach is about 2 km with its clear and warm waters.

Çavus Liman is a large bay that indents to the west 7 nM from the east of Taşlık Burnu. Çavuş Liman is a deep, east-facing bay seven miles north of the long headland of Taşlık Burnu. It has good shelter from the prevailing S-SE winds and the northerly land breeze, but is open E. Çavuş Liman is often the first anchorage used by yachts rounding Taşlık Burnu en route from Finike to Antalya. At the head of the bay is a mile-long sandy beach, lined with beach umbrellas and restaurants and with several rickety jetties used by tripper boats.

This is a natural harbour lying in the West of Antalya Körfezi, surrounded by Küçük Çavuş Burnu and Taşlık Burnu. Pırasalı Ada off the cape and the lighthouse on it (Mo(A)15s8M) are easily visible on approach. Passage between the islet and the mainland is suitable. There is a long beach on the Western side of the bay.

Yachts can anchor in either the southern or northern cove at each end of the beach in 6 - 7 metres. The holding is good on sand. The southern cove is sandy but has a number of small craft moorings in the best places. The best shelter - especially if anchoring overnight - is in the N cove, where you are mostly out of the inevitable swell you get in any open sea anchorage and you avoid the worst of the northerly land breeze. In both anchorages there can be occasional strong gusts with the afternoon seabreeze, so make sure your anchor is well dug in.

There are several anchorages, convenient according to weather conditions. High valleys at the entry are spotted. The northern side is backed by steep hillsides, but the southern side is wooded in pine and ends by 2 km sand beach. You can drop anchor in 4 - 6 meters in the southern corner and swing. Southerly winds in open sea funnel down from these slopes, making this uncomfortable and untenable anchorage.

The cove off the beach on the north provides better shelter. There are two coves on the north shore of the bay - both are fair weather anchorages. Drop anchor in 10 meters and swing. Anchoring is possible in the Northern part of the bay or in small, sheltered coves on the Southern side. With its natural structure, the bay is an incredible sight.

There are restaurants, buffets and grocery shops ashore where you can obtain limited provisions. There is land transport connections.

An iron light tower at entry on port side is called Küçükçavuş Burnu Feneri and the name of this bay is commonly called as ‘’Çavuş Limanı’’.
