Sailing in Turkey also allows visitors to experience the hospitality of the people in the coastal villages and towns. The tempered winds blowing from west and northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting, and seem to encourage an appreciation of nature. From some of the turquoise coast's unspoilt and sheltered bays you can see mountain peaks rising to almost 3000 meters above sea level.

Çamlık Koyu is on the NE exit of Gökkaya Limanı, intending to the west. Its southern hillsides are thickly wooded in pine. The settings are very attractive. The nature is so generous here. There is 17 - 20 meters depth at the entry. The depths shelve ashore and drop 8 meters. You can anchor in turquoise waters in 8 m and take a line ashore to the south.

The bottom is sand. Çamlık Bay provides good shelter in westerly blowing winds, it is open to easterlies. Strongly blowing SE winds push swell in Çamlık Koyu provides all round shelter, boats winter afloat here. There are several springs in the bay, so the water is cool. Swimming is a real delight in the chilly water.
