One of Netsel Marmaris Marina’s most prominent features is that it is an “urban marina”. The marina, which is adjacent to the historical Marmaris Fortress and the entertainment area, is within two minutes’ walking distance to the Marmaris city centre. With its strong breakwaters and its naturally safe haven positioning, Netsel Marmaris Marina is one of the safest shelters against adverse weather conditions.
The marina has a total of 830 berths of which 130 are dry berths. No fees are charged for water provided to the yachts and electricity provided from a power source up to 16 Amperes. Wireless internet is also provided free of charge. Among the services provided to marina guests are computers, printers, Internet access, daily weather reports and contact info of technical services in the front office.
The port also has mooring services, 24 hour surveillance camera assisted security, slipway and boatyards up to 100 tons as well as a shopping centre carrying goods from many well-known brands, technical services, fuel station, laundry and swimming pool.
Moreover, Netsel Marmaris Marina is among the main sponsors of Turkey’s largest yacht race Marmaris Yacht Races Week. Netsel Marmaris Marina has one of Turkey’s largest marina shopping centers hosting more than 40 brands. In its shopping centre, the marina caters to yacht owners and the local population with its restaurants boasting rich menus, elegant cafes, and various companies operating in the yachting field ranging from apparel to accessories as well as car rental services.
MARINA
Two concrete-block breakwaters enclose a total area of nearly one hectare providing easily accessible berthing of yachts up to 40 meters L.O.A. The marina features a floating concrete docking system where yachts are tied stern to. Berths are spacious enough to allow berth holders to sail their boats whenever they wish. The piers are made of Swedish patented floating concrete pontoons, firmly anchored to concrete blocks for safe mooring.
Approaching
Sailing into Marmaris bay, you face the 16th century Ottoman castle still guarding the harbour. At your starboard side you will notice the rising hills of green pine and golden shrubbery at the foot of which Netsel Marina lies. The bay has no underwater hazards such as sand banks or rocks so it's extremely safe to approach through VHF channel 06 and you will be directed by our control tower staff into a berth.

Water and Electricity : Each berth has access to a service box where you can get fresh water and 220 volt (16 amps) electricity. If your water or electricity connections do not fit ours , you can get supplies from the marina yacht shop.
Communication : We are pleased to offer the use of our facsimile machine and facilities for photocopying. Although a telephone outlet is available on your service box, connection may be arranged only on application to the reception . International calls can also be made from the booths situated in the shopping mall. In marina office e-mail, internet and fax transmission, free wireless internet connection

Fire Early Warning & Extinguishing : For the safety of you and your boat, Marina is equipped with 50 Kg and 6 Kg halogen gas dry powder fire extinguishers located near the piers. The road along the quay is so designed that the piers can be easily reached by local fire fighting lorries. In case of fire, please inform the Marina office immediately for further professional assistance.
Fuel Station : The petrol station, situated on the inner breakwater, is also operational for serving diesel, petrol and lubrication oil.

MARMARIS INTERNATIONAL YACHT CLUB
The Marmaris International Yacht Club was founded in 1992 by the yachtsmen and women of Marmaris. Prior to the formation of the club, these people would hold various amateur races between themselves but once the club was set up, they saw an opportunity to create an official get-together and organized the first Marmaris Race Week.

WEEKLY MARKETS
Most tourists enjoy visiting markets in both Armutalan and Içmeler. The markets sell most of the same things the local shops stock but one can haggle a bit more. The market in the Armutalan area of Marmaris is on a Thursday and the Içmeler market is every Wednesday.
ENTERTAINMENT
Marmaris is famous for its fantastic nightlife. For pre partying drinks many small bars along the beachfront offer the perfect place to watch the warm sun set. There are a selection of good clubs along the beachfront which play a variety of music and cater to different tastes.
For hard core partiers Bar street is where the party's at. Located in the old town this street has over 100 bars and clubs ranging from rock bars to Club arena, a huge outdoor nightclub with foam parties. All are open to at least 4 am. Beware when drinking in Bar Street as prices are much higher than those along the beach front although entry to most clubs is free and there are periods when there are special offers available.
