Sailing in Turkey also allows visitors to experience the hospitality of the people in the coastal villages and towns. The tempered winds blowing from west and northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting, and seem to encourage an appreciation of nature. From some of the turquoise coast's unspoilt and sheltered bays you can see mountain peaks rising to almost 3000 meters above sea level.

Yavansu (Martı) Cove lies on the SE of point; Kuyrucak Burnu. The depths shelve ashore. Yavansu Koyu is at the eastern end of the wide bay that opens up as you proceed about one mile west from Kapı Creek. There is a wooden pier. Boats can be anchored fore-and-aft and get a line ashore or anchored off in 10 m and swing. This cove is open to breeze, making it an inadequate overnight anchorage. The slopes are densely covered by pine and olive trees.

The reason this place is called Yavansu is due to the water quality coming down from the mountains is good only for animal watering. This cove is also called as Seagull Bay (Martı Koyu) because of seagull mosaics on the shore.

Across Marto Bay is easily recognized with its great painting of seagull on the coast. This is a calm place that is not used by gullet so much. Yachts can be pull alongside to T port in front of a restaurant from the rear or bow of the boat or may anchor in 10 - 15 meters on the east side of the bay.

Seagull Bay is at the eastern end of the wide bay that opens up as you proceed about one mile west from Kapı Creek. There is a very prominent image of a seagull created with white stones on the shore. The restaurant which was formerly here is closed and the jetty appears to be in an advanced state of disrepair. Either free anchor in 15 - 20 metres or anchor and take a line ashore to one of the numerous orange bollards around the bay.

A restaurant ashore provides service from time to time.  There is a very prominent image of a Yavansu created with white stones on the shore. The restaurant which was formerly here is closed and the jetty appears to be in an advanced state of disrepair. Either free anchor in 15 - 20 metres or anchor and take a line ashore to one of the numerous orange bollards around the bay. Yavansu Koyu is open from NE round to NW.

Rocks on the hills around the bay on the south of Manastır Bay entrance are eroded and transformed into sharp columns. These columns that rise up through olive trees create different view. You can pull alongside port to at the end of bay. You can anchor throw a mooring line to coast. There are places in 10 - 15 m depth in the offshore 50 meters; but there are waves passing the bay all along. These waves create disturbance rather than danger.
