Eğri Liman is a delightful small gulf with several anchorage. There is very good shelter from most winds including the meltem. Anchor on the W side. The bottom is mud and weed and there may be some difficulty.
Danger: There are several reefs in the area.
Eğri Liman is on the western end of Karaburun Peninsula. It is 8 miles away on the south of Karaburun. A peninsula extends in a northerly direction, parallel to the mainland. It is connected to the shore with an isthmus.
The entrance is 300 meters. Three rocky islets near the middle of the peninsula lie 400 meters off the point. The depth at the entrance is 20 meters. Depths gradually shelve ashore. The bottom is sandy and muddy, affords excellent holding. Boats drop anchor in 2 - 20 meters.
Eğri Liman provides all - round shelter. It gets swell from strong northerly and southerly winds, but it is not gusty in the bay.
A few houses among the fields are seen on the slopes on east. The Küçükbahçe - Karaburun highway is nearby; it’s 30 km to either destination.

With over 8,333 km of coastline along the four seas, Turkey is a treasure chest of coves, inlets, bays and beaches at which yachtsmen can choose a different, private anchorage each night.
Sailing in Turkey also allows visitors to experience the hospitality of the people in the coastal villages and towns. The tempered winds blowing from west and northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting, and seem to encourage an appreciation of nature. From some of the turquoise coast's unspoilt and sheltered bays you can see mountain peaks rising to almost 3000 meters above sea level.
