Reisdere is an area about 12 km east of the town center of Çeşme and about 5 km east of Ilıca. Located northeast of the Çeşme Hot Springs on a small peninsula in the Reisdere (Şifne) bay are the Şifne (Reisdere) Thermal Spring and Mud Baths.
Reisdere is famous for its hot thermal springs and beautifying mud baths. A little past the fish restaurants you will come upon the municipality's hot springs and mud bath facilities. We suggest you spend a day to benefit from this natural wealth. Once you've freshened up at the baths, you may wish to enjoy your dinner with a master chef at one of Sifne's restaurants.
Reisdere is a very important quarter because of the thermal centers and the mud baths The heat is from 19ºC to 25 and 42ºC. The 19ºC is the grand mineral spring, The 25ºC is the little mineral spring, and the 42ºC is the hot spring. Many people rush Reisdere every summer for the thermal springs. There are many thermal pools, shores, mud baths in Reisdere.
The water contains sodium, magnesium, chlorine and calcium and the 38ºC waters are radioactive (5.3 eman). The waters are good for people with rheumatism, rickets, gynecological disorders, urinary tract infections, stomach and intestinal conditions and skin conditions like eczema and boils.
