Burhaniye is a coastal town and district of Balıkesir Province in the Aegean region of Turkey. The district is located on the Aegean coast and is known for its olive oil.
The Yacht Marina, which holds around 250 yachts, gives tourists opportunities of all the attractions of the province who come to the surrounding by their yachts. In this Aegean town, you can see the sink of the sun in the biggest bay on Edremit Gulf. The port is on the west of Gulf Edremit, affording all-round shelter.
There is a fisherman shelter and Burhaniye Yacht Club just next to it. The wind, which became the symbol of our province invites you to Windsurfing and Sailing sports. Burhaniye Sailing Club opens training courses every summer and organizes various competitions.
